  1. COMMAND:  NU (Norton Utility)

  3. FUNCTION: Displays information stored on disks, recovers data from erased
  4.           files, and allows changes to be made to disk data.
  5.  
  6. FORMAT:   NU [d:] [driver] [/NOCOLOR] [/TV]
  7.  
  8. TYPE:     Norton Utility Version 3.0
  9.  
  10. REMARKS:  d: tells NU which drive to work on. This designation can be changed
  11.             from within NU.
  12.           driver can be /D0,/D1,or /D2 where /D0 specifies the fastest IBM
  13.             compatible display writer, /D1 specifies a dsiplay driver that uses
  14.             IBM BIOS services, and /D2 uses the ANSI.SYS device driver to write
  15.             to the screen.
  16.           /NOCOLOR turns off the use of color on the color display adapter.
  17.           /TV makes special adjustments to work with TopView.
  18.           NU is the main Norton Utility that combines a variety od disk
  19.           functions in one utility. Files can be located on the disk, examined
  20.           in detail, modified at will, and recovered after having been deleted.
  21.           NU is entirely menu driven and is essentially self-explanatory.
